Well have been away from the hobby for a while and had permission to hunt this property for sometime now, but better late than never. Was hoping to have a better detector by now to get deeper but still working on that one.

The owner tells me the property was built in 1890. Got out there on Valentines day and just did some haphazard searching this first day. She is fantastic. Told me I could come and go as I please, no need to call ahead of time. Ha have to say she is my best "owner find" of the year.

When I found the ring I thought it was just some junk costume jewelry, but cleaning revealed it was silver. Too bad the stone is missing

The neatest find for valentines was this tag for JP Rose growers. Sterling Silver is one of their rose varieties I believe :D

also found some clad. hopefully I'll have some better things to show after I get out there and do some precise hunting.

Thanks for looking and HH.

Nice ring & other finds, to bad about the stone missing!

yeah I'll have to go poke around where it was found and see if maybe its still there (slim chance though)
