Still Finding Silver in Central New York

It is getting harder to find, but we are still finding Silver in CNY. I was the only one of 3 friends to find a single Merc on 11-04-13. It was about 5 inches deep in very wet mix of dirt and gray clay. You would dig a plug, and it would start to fill with water. It had rained 2 days straight before last Monday. The Merc was a 1953. I also pulled a 1935 Buffalo Nickel, and 1951D and 1953D wheats. Also found was $3.92 in clad.
