I think it is a newer style tower for water. BTW the Tombigbee river is another 500 yards ahead and to the right. I was hunting next to the tracks in a very old part of town in this picture. Still silver eludes me!

I have wanted to hunt there for around eight years now but just haven't motivated to do it. I live in Jackson ms but grew up in Carrollton al. When I was young our family would fish the river there. Sounds like u have a good spot there. HH.

I know how you feel. Someday's I feel like refusing to quit until I find silver and I may have to drive an hour. Right when I get anxious I usually can find something. I found a silver half yesterday and only my second one and after feeling real desperate and not even finding wheat cents the last few hunts.
