Stingray vrs Tigershark?

I bought a stingrayII about 12 yrs ago. Sent it back to Tesoro about 3 yrs ago and they tuned it up and put on a new coil. Kids are all grown up and finaly getting some good use out of her. I have been well pleased with this machine. Question is, Would a newer detector (such as a TS of excal.) make much differance in my finds. I prefere UW hunting. Probable have about 25 hrs experiance. Still digging most everything. Getting better at disc mode. Very impressive aluminum collection so far.

The Excal would only decrease the small iron targets you might dig as it ignores them instead of disc'ing them out like the Stingray or Tiger Shark would do. It isn't so much the detector as the area you are searching. The Tiger Shark could also increase your finds if you were to use the 10" coil due to more depth and area covered per sweep. Otherwise with the same size coil they would be about the same.
