Okay, what is the story on this piece? It looks to be a Double Bitted Grooved Axe and would be rare if actually ancient. A lot of this type was faked over the years because of their scarcity and value. Do you have any info for us on it? Where found, when, and by whom would help. Thanks.

That's definitely not what Iwas expecting to see. Looks like a museum artifact.

Why would anyone post these pictures without a corresponding story? If it was mine, you could not get me to ever shut up talking about it.

No story needed for me. Looks cool fake, found, stolen, or purchased.

OP never claimed anything at all. Just poasted an image of a stone ax so far.

Sorry guys!! It's just one piece of my uncles collection we're going through. There's a lot more but just haven't had time to take pics of everything. I will be honest and tell you I know nothing about these tools/ artifacts/ arrowheads. I always thought they were cool but never dove any deeper than that. He collected for years. Some were found and I'm sure a lot was purchased. We're going through everything as a family. I honestly almost missed this piece because I thought it was just a rock!

Lets see some more pieces. Make sure the lint is off the camera cause I was actually rubbing my screen, lol
Nice piece

I'm at work but I'll get some more pics in the morning. My camera isn't the best so no promises...lol.
