Hey guys, found this many years ago and put it in a box... thought it was unique looking so I kept it. I love that it has the sand dollar imprint on it. So yesterday im just looking through some points posted and find a stone age hand axe and this thing looks the exact same. I have found other Paleo items at the site. Just wanted to get some other eyes on this thing to tell me I'm crazy or not haha.

That sucker looks very old. If you post a few pictures of some of the other items found at the same site, it might give a clue as to a time period. And location (what part of the state) is helpful too.

Unfortunately I'm back over seas but most the items I find there are fossilized... and very old points along with megaladon and mammoth parts.... we get a good mix of Paleo points and knifes around it. N.Florida

Looks like Ocala Chert to me. I had a Hamilton Stemmed made from it once. To me it looks like a large knife.

It looks to me like it was used for something, i do agree its old.
