Hi frieds, my name in Gabriel, i`m from Mazatlan Sinaloa.....

I found this symbol on a stone in the forest, they think it means something?

Maybe more signs there, look in rocks aside or down owl
can be spaniard ..a group of 3 signs (owl, > and ??)

If no more signs, maybe need align "> sign" with something around
..pointing to the final zone, where to search what carved signs say

Hello Widomanx, It could be a corner marker, I it is it should show E /W /N/ S directions or a at least 3 directions, the horzional " V " that you marked is two directions, nose mouth but what verifies it as a corner marker is the use of the degrees that it shows

Are there other rocks and/or trees nearby? Take pics all around it. Stand back and take a pic of the area from a distance, then close up of each component. Get a close-up of the areas that Widomanmx pointed out. Then upload to your computer and zoom in.
Study all the threads here on signs and symbols. The signs and symbols may not necessarily correspond with what you will find in your area, but they will help you to understand what types of things you are looking for. Perhaps there are treasure signs and symbols books for your area?

Es similar a senas de alquimia, pero no es exactamente.

En qualquier evento, aparece a ser inclinado a noventa grados. La pregunta se convierte: ?por que?

Este sena es familiar para mi, pero no se de donde.

Is it possible that this sign is from the Zodiac or Astronomical?

It is similar to Alchemical signs, but not a perfect match.

In any event, it seems tilted 90 degrees. The question becomes: why?

The sign seems familiar to me, but I don't know from where.
