I'm definitely in, but deciding if I want to hit the 1715 beaches or ditch land all together and play the churned up shallows in some 'higher risk, higher reward' areas :laughing7:

Good luck to all.
If you see someone hauling ass in a patched-up RIB with a HP overrated outboard throwing their metal detector at the pursuing Fish and Wildlife cops, wave hello. :hello:

(I kid! I kid! No lawbreaking for me.)

It looks like chantal will be downgraded soon as the upper level winds are disrupting it.

Looks like they have down graded the storm to tropical and shifted the storm closer to our shores by the time it gets close to central fl..... It gould still open up some sweet spots though...

Hoping for Chantel to stay off shore and hug the coast. Cool if it slowed down a little to strengthen. Dont want damage to the land just the sand. Load the cannons and sharpin your blades mates.

"Remnants" of Chantal on the last update sounded just fine to me sitting here on Eleuthera where the center of the track lay yesterday...we hunt the remains of shipwrecks but pray for deliverance from the same fate. One boat in Ft Pierce and one still dear to me in Hatchet Bay. stand down Chantal!

Busted up pretty good as of now, but lets see if it stays organized once it breaks out of the islands and back into open water.
I'm not interested in 'strength predictions' until its in the gulf stream, feeding off all that warm bathwater.

History has shown us again and again and again and again, these things can change very quickly.
If it can reorganize from low back into a tropical event and stays close to the coast, it will still be worth going down there.
