Stove? Fire surround?

Found this today it’s fairly large probably 7” x 9” part of it has a sort of finish that has resisted corrosion and where I’m guessing it wore off where the rusting is more extreme.
The “tines” don’t appear broken and there is a pattern like a fluer de lis without the last set of petals

I would say your guess is right on the money stove or fireplace insert.

The thing that throws me about being a stove piece is the nicer coating, most stove parts I find are heavily heavily rusted and iron... I also don’t see how it fits in with a stove what function would the arched part serve
