Strang Bullet?

Found this strange bullet with its casing intact on Pismo Beach in Central California about 5 days ago. Is this the typical round for a Winchester riffle? Or something else?

Revolver.

.460 Smith and Wesson Magnum. Lots of fun.

The one you found is a dud. Notice the indentation in the primer and that the bullet is still in the case.

Manufactured by Winchester ammunition division.
