Strange bonus when digging yesterday

[TKgal]

The boys and I searched for an hour last night after chores, we found this t post sign? Plow Point? in the pasture. I am leaning toward old road sign... since we found a t post at 6" straight down 3 ft away. Not sure if it is the full post -if so- my son will be digging for a long time, since he wants to dig it out

The bonus seems to be the innards to a baseball.

It is the little spade that is on the bottom of the fence post.
