Max'd out on my branch banks for dime boxes, had a little cash left over, but one branch had several hundred $ in quarters as CWR's.
They were almost all from the same customer, so I figured that they were checked or little chance of silver. After checking half way through and fighting off the Skunks, out pops a bi-centennial 1776-1976 SILVER 'S' quarter (sorry no pic). How strange it looked among all the other clad, but I'll put it on the stack none the less.
My findings on my dime boxes is now below 1.0/box. I guess that I was just SUPER SPOILED when I happened to pick up those ten (pic)SOLID ROLLS OF SILVER HALVES just after getting out of the hospital 8-day stay. I'm never going to forget that monumental find of a lifetime.
PS: thanks guys for all the get well words of encouragement. After being home now 2-weeks and can't work anymore, it feels pretty good. So this is what FULL retirement is like. Just hope I don't start climbing the walls tooooo soon.
