strange gold impregnated coin type thing

[tess_tickle]

Hi guys.
I found this strange thing this morning. Just under a foot deep in a field.
Its quite thin, and clearly has gold inlay.
Any of you fellas seen anything like this?

Looks like a gold gilted button to me, Mr. Tickle.
