I all, new site in Lexington SC.
My Nephew found this today at a new site for us.
It does not appear to be sandstone so this would take some work to do.
This is a sandy area without a lot of hard stone the rock's are mainly quartz or sand stone.
So it was probably brought in.
The pictures are not clear so if anyone thinks it is something I will try to get better pictures.
The Serrated Kirk is chert and found in the same hole/depth.
Thanks everyone!

Guessing a quartz inclusion caused a hollow spot in the chert, Most drilled holes look drilled. If it was pottery it would appear to be the bottom of a leg pot.:dontknow:
