It measures 14'' x 10'' & it's 2 '' thick . It weighs about 20 pounds . It has images on both sides .

Looks like some kind of printing block. I think the reason one side is mirrored and one is not is so that both sides can be printed at the same time. Image transfers to press blanket and back to paper... OTOH, been in printing many years and never seen anything like it.

EDIT: Is there any texture to the type? Could have been used for embossing or foil stamping a printed piece.

Been in printing about 25 years and never seen or heard of litho limestone. How did you come about acquiring this piece?

It's not mine , my buddy owns a pawn shop , I was there today & I saw it sitting on the floor . I asked ''what is it ''
he said he has no idea . I ask him if I could take a few pics of it so I could research it - he said sure , so I did and posted here , within minuets RW solved it . I called my friend and told him what it is . He was thrilled . I think he thinks I'm a genius . I'm not , but the people of treasurenet are !
