Strange silver

War nickels were positively absolutely not plated, or clad like later dimes, quarters, halves and dollars. The metals were mixed as in all nickels.
 

Improper alloy mix. This is why you can see some streaking in the color. Kind of a "mistake" by the U.S. Mint.
This one seems to be two errors in one. Improper alloy mix and a Lamination.
