Street tear out IH's and an 1867.../

Hit a street tear out in one of the oldest parts of town, early this morning. Dug a little lead? toy guy, a toasted, un date able Indian, a 1903 Indian and an 1867 something, with a shield. Smaller and thinner than a modern quarter, I have no clue what it is. ...................Update: 1867 2 cent piece

Street tear outs are great. Nice going jumping on that spot. I hit a parking lot tear out for an old hotel a few years ago and came up with a 2 real and two large cents. Got to hit them quick or loose out forever. Great finds.

The 1867 is a 2 cent piece, my second one in the last 2 months! The other one was a 1864

I found an 1868 a couple of weeks ago stuck to an Indian head. Found 7 of the last year, 6 were 1864 and one was an 1865. Until I got my CTX 3030 it had been years since I found a 2 cent piece. Got 11 of them since I got the CTX..
