style of knives I've never seen before.

Hey all, I purchased the brown knife over 20 years ago and it has just been another tool in my tool box. Untill today. I was describing it to my friend at work and he told me he has one similar to mine. He brought it to work today and I thought WOW this one is way cooler than mine. His has a the matching sheath and all is in good shape. He believes it was his grandfathers and was passed down to him by his father. It does read Teledo on the inlay which seams to be the maker. The brown one reads surgical steel, pakastan. Any know of the history on these bad boys?

Those are lever lock knives. Probably reads Toledo , not teledo. As in ,Made in Toledo Spain.

Yes, Toledo. His grandfather was from Spain so that makes sense.

Cool-I have (or had) a knife just like your brown one that I bought about 25 years ago at a gun and knife show. Never saw another until now.

Cool. I've had the brown one for about 20-25 yrs also. I guy at work needed a few bucks for beer money, lol. So I bought it.
