I just looked at beachcombers post and it reminded me of these that I found the other day. they came from a native american site. they have been buried for a very long time. where they were buried preserved them quite well. these are bison teeth. they became extinct here in florida shortly after the spanish first arrived in the 16th century. they look a lot like big deer teeth. but they are not. not fossil.. not new...Sub-fossil. still cool though.
