Hello, I am thinking about buying a metal detector and am looking at a Garrett ace 400 metal detector with waterproof coil and headphone. I live in southern Az but also hope to spend some time detecting in New Jersey. Is there a metal detector that would work well in both states? I would like to spend no more than 400 dollars at most. I would like a metal detector that is simple, reliable and effective. What are your suggestions?
