We're in the tail end of a winter thaw, so I got to get out and try my luck again at the silver farm today. It takes more effort to find stuff now, but the ground continues to yield. The highlight of the day was the combination of this dateless Buff and 44P war nickel in the same hole. I followed up later with a 45P. Also on the menu were seven wheats, including a 20, 29 and 39. Altogether, I tallied $.98, almost like those hot days of summer. I see the forecast is for decreasing temps, down to 9 degrees by Sunday, so the ground will soon be iron; hopefully, many of you were able to take advantage too.
