This is the summer forecast from the National Weather Service. I looked it up because it seems to me we’re having a cool and late spring. I wondered if it might be a sign of a cooler summer. WX Service says nope!🙂‍↔️

I have grab the salt shaker and grab a grain or 2.
The government installed a new radar system for forecasts.
We might as well as turned the ability to correctly forecast back 10 yrs or more.

It seems that everyone has the same opinion on this.
Meteorologist is the only profession that one can be wrong a lot of the time, and still be paid.

Flip a coin, odds are 50/50 either way.

I know we’ve had colder wetter springs because my apple tree gets leaf curl from it. I’ve changed the saying to May showers bring June flowers. I used to burn my wood stove from October 15 to April 15. Now it’s the entire month of Oct and April. And some days in May I would bake corn muffins or something in the oven just to warm up the house. ☃️

I grew up forecasting the weather, red skies at night/morning.
Is there clouds coming over the distant hills?

This simple look out the window was more accurate than what they seem to do 50 yrs later.

Just 2 weeks ago, the radar showed 🌧 🌦 🌂, the farmer delayed seeding, tilling, and the day was this.

A total 180° from what the radar showed.
I have to question how much of what we are told/showed is the actual truth.

I understand VIRGA

But one needs a radar showing green.
The skies were totally blue.

Looks like it is going to be a hot one, to me.
Maybe time to work on a Freon based skin lotion.😁
