Summit Point, WV -Nice Relics, 2 Questions...

Hunted up in WV yesterday! Had a great time! When I'm out hunting, it's like being close to God. It's nice and quiet, and being close to history is thrilling. I found a mixed bag of bullets. 3 ringers, ringtail sharps, shot bullets, and a confederate gardiner that I gave to the landowner.. Got a nice canteen spout, and a jack knife. The two items that I have questions about are the brass buttplate, and the coin. Never seen anything to compare them to. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Happy hunting!!
