Haven't the room I use to when I grew a BIG garden,I won't grow anything that isn't heirloom, Cherokee Purple/Brandy Wine,have to move them for max. sun.

What do you use? They use tobacco netting around here for "backer" (a little Smoky Mountain slang),used for some berry's to keep the pesky birds from eating all the profit.:laughing7:
 

I build a kind of oriental pagoda I guess and on top I put what is called locally "lateas" They are saplings that are sold by street vendors and usually used for coyote fences. About 12 feet long. So it's kind of like a coyote fence on a roof. I like the pagoda. It makes me look civilized.
The lateas let me add or subtract their number based on the month.
I once tried a fabric sun screen but the wind here can be a pain. I haven't found a way yet to fix the altitude.
