Sunday Artifact 6-7-20

3 1/4 by 1 5/8 Batwing Newnan found by me in Hillsborough County Florida.The only flaw is there is a slight sliver taken off the base but it's ancient. This is in my opinion my best find and reminds me why I look for these things.

Definitely coral, I'm guessing heat treated.

I was motivated before but this one really pushed me while I lived in Florida.

Those are so similar to bat wing Gary points from east tx . That's a super fine example of beautiful coral. Authentic examples just don't come much finer.
