a very worn 1898 Barber half that I found inside :o a old

Looks like you missed the good year of 1897 by one. Still, a Barber half is nothing to be ashamed of. Wish I could find one once.

That's pretty neat. I wonder if it was inside there to keep the batteries tight or if it was just to keep.
 
Don't have a barber half yet. I do have a seated and a walker though.

2 years ago I found a merc dime glued inside a gas cap. Figured it might have been the emergency gas money.
