Sunday’s Finds xx

After a very wet start the sun came out and it was a beautiful day 😎 xx

Went back to the same fields as yesterday, no hammered today, but I did get a silver!

First item I think is a book clasp, then a fancy dress hook, the a strap mount, back of the mount and a hobnail (?) it sure what the next item is.. then a stunning thimble, buckle, loop and a weird nail, then himself found our first dice 😍 complete crotal bell, but the iron ringer has rusted out the bottom, 2 bits of metal plate, then a stamp, no image on it tho, huge lead weight, pretty button, and a button with a different back fitting, more buttons, then a 1955 half crown, it sure about the next one but I see a face… pre dec coins, then a Victoria six pence.

Whew!
The die (single dice) for the win!
But the thimble.. is certainly in the running.
But look at the rest and...whew.

Hand wrought is less a worn out shop term today.
Then comes the decorative flares.

Congrats to you both!

(And a sixpence to boot.. You thought I'd sing it , of course?)

I've found lots of thimbles but yours looks heavier (thicker walls) and older than any of mine. Thanks for your continuing posts of interesting finds and great photography!

Congratulations on the thimble, crotal, and the Six Pence.

The reason for the different button back-because it's a cufflink.
The black looking one is a sweet one.
