PSunday turned out pretty well but it was way WAY to hot to be hunting with heat index approaching 120 deg

1. I think most likely a Val Verde10,000 to 3000 BP
2. Possibly a Leon 3000 to 1300 BP
3. Misc. Caddo pottery
4. A beautiful motley 10,000 to 3000 BP
5. Sunday"s Smoker - I think an Epps 10000 to 3000 BP -anyone recognize that material?

Nice finds ! Beautiful material on the last smoker, all I can say is it looks to be some type of Chalcedony. HH

You had an exceptional hunt. Thanks for sharing.

Man, you find some beautiful points down there in LA. Thanks for showing!

Nice point finds! On the white one it could be a type of quartzite.

:icon_thumright: You have some pretty nice points. The material on that last one looks similar to some of the mottled quartz/agate that is found up here in the High Plains (Wy.,MT., and ND.)

I've seen old maps that show Caddo trade routs as far up as Michigan so it's not far a stretch to think it may have come from those places. Interestingly enough the biggest thing that the Caddo traded was salt, there are huge salt pits near here that reach right to thre surface.
