Sunglasses Galore

Found all these sunglasses washed up on the beach with alot of tubeworms , It was really weird that all of these
sunglasses got washed up at the same time but I guess it makes sense things of similar weight or density would be at the same depth - I just wished I could have found the line of gold - Cavedweller

Yeah all in about an hour and that was just the good ones - some of the ones I did'nt post had barnacle all over
them and I also found a couple of scuba masks but some of the good sunglasses were expensive when they were
new - D&G , Versace , Coach , so someone was upset when they lost them - Cavedweller

2nd column, fourth pair up from the bottom... those are mine. Lost them getting dumped off the banana boat this summer.

Nice haul for all of those shades. They probably came from a container that fell off a freighter during a previous storm. Sometimes they lose a container in their travels and it sinks to the ocean floor. With the storms that they have been having, currents, and winds they occasionally break open and the contents get pushed on-shore. I would make sense since you mentioned some other items like diving masks. It could have been down there for some time. Either way, nice finds and you can sell a few and make some money.

That's quite an amazing number of finds of unscratched sunglasses in the surf.
Do you realise that photographing reflective lenses (or anything) reflects the photographer?
