Super old comb can anyone help with the age?

Found this old comb at a site that dates into the 1700s
just wondering if anyone has found one before

I can't give you an exact age but know they go back to the late 1800's probably further though. I can't remember the exact use but they were heated to curl or straight the hair.
 
Vayank is right, they are circa 1880s to early 1920s, it had a wood handle, you would heat it up to mostly curl hair...Some times to strighten........Lee
 
I've never found a comb like that--and now I'd like to find one! :thumbsup:

1903 we have been over this yard a thousand times before but the 10*12 on the dfx is finding the deep stuff :laughing7:
