Supermarket Silver.

I know been awhile since I have been on here. But got lucky at the supermarket yesterday, as I was checking out the cashier open the register and I spotted silver. I asked her if she would let me buy them she said yes, I gave her the money and got me a roll of 40% in halves. Beats the boxes I have been going through each week...Good to be back..

I worked as a cashier in a grocery store as a kid and the silver would come in streaks. I would try and find out if they will sell you some of their recent change they have gotten from the bank, possibly what bank they get change from and try there, or make friends and see if that cashier will keep an eye out for you.

I try to go to the service desk and ask if they have any halves that someone has turned in when I go shopping, it's the looking in the coinstar machine that I keep forgetting to do. HH, Maverick.

I ask for all the coins that the coinstar did not take. Nothing this year but I still ask.
