Had my hernia surgery today, quite sore right now, so no detecting for me for a little while. Wow, have things changed since my last surgery, nurse came in, checked vitals, gave me my discharge papers and told me I could get dressed and go, no wheelchair ride to exit or anything, just got up and walked out to the car. That was not fun, LOL

That's not right.

Best wishes to you for a speedy recovery and a quick return to detecting......

That wasn't nice of them! We always wheel the patients to their cars where I work - even when they don't want us too, lol. Will pray for your speedy recovery. Hopefully you will be out finding some goodies very soon.

They discharge a lot of folks now when they should not be. They did that to my wife 5 years ago and complications nearly killed her.

May God bless you with a speedy recovery.

It sounds like you got the "express surgery" option. They should have wheeled you out to the pick up car, that just isn't right!

Thanks everyone, feeling a lot better today, hope to detecting soon, I hope.

Surgery is an ancient medical specialty that uses operative manual and instrumental techniques on a patient to investigate and/or treat a pathological condition such as disease or injury, or to help improve bodily function or appearance.

Wait till O care gets in...........it is not getting better.
