Went to do a business deposit and one of the tellers said she made some great finds.
One of those "little old lady" stories.
The teller found 2 solid rolls of 40% and 2 solid rolls of Rosies.
Hoping she'd say she hung on to them for me but she's going to keep them, for the time being at least.
She knows where I work and said if she decides to sell them she'll come into my store.
I went from elated to disappointed.
Grabbed change for the store including a roll of quarters.
Back at the store I decided to check it.
21 1965 and 19 1964.
My eyes almost popped out of my head when I saw the second half of the roll.
Went right back to the bank, waited for the same teller, asked if she had any more rolls the woman dropped off.
Bought $50.
First roll was solid.
All 5 were solid.
219 quarters between 1935 and 1964.
Best hunting day I've ever had.
