Surprise find at waterfront park

Decided to swing by a popular waterfront park and sniff out the sand with my compadre. This was a strange signal, one of those iffy ones but i dug anyway because its sand

Im not sure how old it is or the composition. It picks up on max disc.. It was 5-6" deep, was barely picking it up.



Thought id share because its not the usual day for me

Thanks all. On close examination, it looks more like plated. It feels like it's made of copper or something similar.
