Ive found three colonial sites this field season for a total of around 20 British coppers but no Spanish. Tonight I hunted where I park to get to one of them. Its an old farmstead currently being demolished and full of trash. Found an indian and a worn Barber today but nothing that would have me thinking a 1759 Half Real could be lurking nearby

That's a nice assortment of finds! And your patience with the large amount ofvtrash has paid off...

Congratulations :)

Excellent finds- Congrats! 17xx silver is tremendous!

Congratulations on those great Spanish silver finds! Outstanding! Thanks for posting and sharing with us! Banner!

Anyone who finds a Spanish Reales is a immediate winner! Should make them legal tender at Taverns again.

That's one lovely piece of Spanish silver. You are having quite a season toasted. Twenty British coppers is pretty epic in my book. I'm guessing more old silvers to come.
