I guess posting finds on multiple places at about the same time should be left to someone with a longer attention span and who is better organized then I . I posted here and in a FB group I belong to at about the same time and couldn't understand why no one had commented on my old silver finds from today . Well I just realized for some brain dead reason I didn't include then in this post and that explains alot . The mercs and Nickels I posted earlier where from a park along the susquehanna river here in NY . There was alot of trading on that river over the last 200 yrs. It produced my first ever Spanish silver this spring and today it coughed up two more . Both were more modern then my first one and are totally roached but I could care less . If there are three there who knows how many more lurk just below the surface waiting to be discovered.

Not sure of the history of the north branch of the Susquehanna, but if there are any similarities, there were forts built at or near the mouth of every creek that empties into the west branch..........there should be lots of opportunities for those oldies............

If I foumd two Spanish silvers I wouldn't have a problem remembering where or where not I posted them. Lol
Awesome day!!

Congrats on the sweet old silver 46W.

Two of them... wow.

No hobblay seniore 46W. Congrats on those Spanish silvers Dude. :occasion14:

I belong to a few FB groups, but they are nothing like Tnet. You are lucky to get more than a like there, if that. Boy do I love Tnet where many people take time to help, make comments and build friendships. Heck my local county has a MD FB group. I believe there are a total of maybe 12 members, only 3 of us post some finds. I only stay to see what's being dug locally otherwise it's practically a waste of time. Mainly park and school hunters in that FB group.

I actually really enjoy the FB group I belong to . It's mostly colonial cellar hole hunters mixed with a little adult humor and such stuff . It has alot of traffic and members
