SWAMP MONSTER

Went out yesterday late afternoon, (Yes in the rain)

. Covered the XLT and went to work in a field that has produced many coins from 1800 to early 1900's. I always bypassed a swampy area in the lower end. Since I was already wet and had the high boots on, I decided to check the area. Glad I did, after finding a harmonica reed and some brass shot shell ends, I hit a solid + 90 Signal. Out of the mud came my first Trade Dollar.

Another Trade Dollar!!!!

I was just checking my forums and came across another Trade Dollar find from this weekend (4/26) !!! I have never seen one before yours and now another pops up, this one dug in NY.

Took the "Swamp Monster" to a local coin shop and had her cleaned up. Here she is after her bath. Next step, she is going to get slabbed and graded. HH Folks !

Actually the coin is sitting up in my safe. This one is staying with the family. Since it not going anywhere for a long long time, I'll let my daughters take care of what happens to it. Thanks for your interest. :thumbsup:
