Swans, Silver Spoon, IH & Relics!

I had a great time Saturday with my buddies Chris, Chuck, Lanny & Dean saving some history! Chris had the find of the day with a counterfeit 1788 8 reales, his first signal! I found a very interesting relic with 2 swans on it. It’s art nouveau period, the best guess I have heard is a picture frame. Whatever it is I like it! Another great personal find was a sterling spoon patented 1915 that has the initials NWM. The people who lived at this site last name started with M! I also found an Indian head & other assorted relics. If anyone knows what the item with 15 stamped on it let me know.

My kind of hunt. Cool old unique relics often trump old coins for me. The brass picture frame is killer. Silver spoons are seldom found. Great variety hunt mate.

Nice finds. The round object with the 15 is actually a cap for a mainspring barrel for a pocket watch or small clock.

Great finds. The spoon is british and made in Birmingham. The lion rampant and anchor are dead giveaways! [emoji106]
