Curious on why CAC on #4? Is it b/c of the whiteness of the base glass or the ribbon color or ???? I am so used to seeing primarily flamboyant CAC's that a rather nondescript throws me. (well, so doesn't everything else for that matter! LOL!)

You're right, the CACs do stand out usually. Yes on the white ...The CAC white will be whiter than any other white (ravenswoods can have really bright white too), and the color of the swirl will be very clean and true. The edges of the swirl will be crisp, no (very little) bleeding or blending. Transparent colors will be deep, nice clarity. Their transparent blue swirls on white usually have the same color blue on all of them and it looks to me like this one. Swirl pattern is different on CACs, and the swirl tips are often finer points than they are on other marbles.

Yet another cut an paste piece of info into my word pad doc! (I do make sure to note from whence it came...in case I write a book ya know..hmmm.)
