Been sorting and categorizing my finds over the holiday time off.......coming across a few things that I've never "for sure" identified.
This was found in N. AZ. at a remote location that had a constant Army presence during the mid 1860's to early 1870's.
I believe this may be a sword hanger, and recall coming across a picture of a very similar item on an officers belt from a CW website, but never confirmed. Figured the CW buffs could ID it quick if it is......thanks in advance for the help!
That is a General Service cuff-button with it for scale. That one and several other's were found in the vicinity of the "hanger".
