great find, carat!! oneida stopped making that pattern of Gerber spoons sometime in the late 70s/early 80s!

the rings are hard to find, every time I've seen one up for sale they're gone in minutes.

sure is and the ring is made by Onieda silver which is right there in Rome NY I think near the old Gerber Plant. I believe its in the mohawk valley or just off the Thruway in NY . Great Find. HH

Thanks for the info floater, I was pretty sure it might be silver as it came out of the ground so nice.

Silver is silver and a ring is a ring! Personally, I think it's one of the better rings I've seen posted. Hell, anyone can buy a ring, a homemade ring is a much cooler, rarer find, and so much the better that it's made from a cool Gerber/Oneida sterling spoon! Nice digs Caratjuice! HH!
