Today I went on my second treasure hunt of the new year. Unfortunately, the first one didn't yield anything worthwhile. Today went much better.

First, I found a sixth of a Thaler from Prussia, dated 1813. Then, a smaller silver coin, also from Prussia, from 1825, under the same king. After that, I found a badge for Red Cross volunteers from the Third Reich and a guard's button from Napoleon's Guard.

Two small buckles rounded out the good results. I hope you like the finds.

If possible, I'd like to continue this topic throughout the year whenever I find something new.

Regards, Johannes

Seconds are sometimes better than the first one. Well done on the recoveries.

Stunning finds. Consider thinking about what you changed between your first and second hunts. Different location, detector settings, swing technique or all of these. That understanding will hopefully result in better and better hunts.

Nice bunch of finds. My first outing this year was also a dud. Hopefully my second is better.

Might I suggest just creating a new post after this one fizzles out? It may be difficult for people to keep up with pages of comments and pictures after a while. But to each his own.

Good luck on the next one. And welcome to TreasureNet.

Looks like a great hunt! Congratz!!
