When I was young it was common for parents to tell kids "Look I get this/that (white hair, getting old, joint pain etc) because of raising you" to make kids behave more obediently, one day my mother and her five sisters started telling me & 2 younger cousins (we were all under 8 or so) those again, the talk had always made us felt bad and we knew it wasn't true so I turned to my 2 younger cousins and said loud enough for the moms to hear "When we grow up we must never have children! If we do that, we will become old and sick! If we never have children we can stay young healthy and good looking forever!" my cousins caught the clue and agreed enthusiastically, that was enough to shut up the guilt talk once and for all
