We planted around 1000 bare root pine trees as one to two foot seedlings years ago around the borders of the property When we got them from the conservation dept.we soaked them for several days and I rented a power auger and with the help of friends we planted them This is a southern view of a few of them

Nice! Sure is nice to plant a sapling and years later look out at a 25-to-30-foot tree.
