TD Bank Rejection Tube

I was wondering if there was a way to get the coins from the rejection tube WITHOUT having a teller open the machine. A teller opened the machine to remove a bag and I saw several coins in the tube that did not fall out into the rejection tray...

I want my coin!
( I asked her for the ones today and did score a chuck-e-cheese token!)

Never dealt with them, but upon reading on here. I want to say if you lift up the grate on the top you can get access. But also one person tried that and a security guard yelled at him for doing that.

That's the coin input section, he's talking about the output tray on the bottom.

It varies. Some Pennies have a black plate blocking access to the tube; others have no plate there and you can see the tube. If I can see the tube, I just reach in after I fill the bag and see if there is anything there.

The best way to get the rejects on a machine with the tube blocked is to fill a bag. Halves are the best way to do that as 95% of TD machines fill up with $100 in halves. When i fill a machine i also throw some other coins in the tray so it looks like im a coin collector not a half collector. I also will only fill a bag up once as i dont wanna ruin a good thing.

The best way is to fill a bag & let them open the machine. I dump halves but for some reason the machine normally says that a quarter bag was filled also first. The reject tube can get backed up so that is why you need them to open up the machine to be able to get at it. Sticking your finger up the reject tube will not get you very much in coins if any. Most times it gets backed up further up the tube & you will be unable to see it from looking in the reject slot.
