Teeeeth! Silver pallet.

Teeth! Yes, teeth, from the mid-1800s. (I think). Found in Foxboro, MA. I’ve been using the ACE 400 for a year, and this baby rang the angels tune. 4 inches down, right behind a house that was built in 1857. Ivory dentures with a silver pallet. What a find!!! A nice gentle cleaning and they were good as new. I didn’t floss them. .

No- I didn’t sell them. I also didn’t hide them from the owner. He has them in the house. We dug them up together. I still have access to them.

What a facinating find. As a mostly beach hunter, I have found all kinds of dental appliances inc crowns, bridges, bunch of different Grillz, and even wrote a long post with a bunch of examples of cremation tags from all over the USA and all found on west coast Florida. But never have seen anything close to your denture (?) find. Hope it ends up in a museum somewhere, Cool, Cool, Cool.
PS happens to be a Dental museum close to you and might be willing to give theit opionion.

Odd find huh ? My brother and I , dug up 3 or 4 sets of false teeth in the old mining towns. Found them in a couple of privys and an old dump.
