Hey Overvoltage - To me there is no comparison on accuracy - the CTX is scary way more accurate when you finally figure out how to use it but the T2 is deffinitely a deeper machine - I will go thru a place and detect with my CTX and then later come back with the T2 and get a few items I missed with the CTX - I just wanted to upgrade to the T2 SE limited model to get the extra boost mode and it also came with a extra 5" coil for trashy area's. The T2 still has it place in my arsenal for the right situation - But hands down I believe the T2 is one of the deepest machines out there. I dig about 30 to 40% percent less trash with the CTX over the T2 tho.

No prob Overvoltage - tell your wife it will be so accurate that you will be able to find her gold and silver jewelry and that you are really doing it for her - LOL - let me know if that flies.
