OK, not exactly CRH but I'm learning where to look from you guys. A few weeks ago I was at the bank and spotted a silver half in the teller's till. Only a 40% half but I'll take it! Then last night I checked the Coinstar return at a local supermarket and found a small haul of mostly international coins:

An Australian $2 coin, some sort of Chinese coin, a 5 centavos from Brazil, a few Euro coins, and six memorial cents. So starts my Coinstar collection :icon_thumright:

Good eye. Good luck on your collection. Congrats

Congratualtions on the nice Coinstar finds! :occasion14:

Our folks must be broke. My Kroger never has anything. I'm gonna keep an eye on that Pharmacist in there.

Too lake to pull out now, your hooked, and good luck.

Oh yes! Let the accumulations begin!

Thanks for the feedback guys. I showed the "Chinese coin" to a couple of Chinese co-workers today and was told that it's actually a Taiwanese 1 New Dollar coin. Worth about 3 cents according to an online currency converter, so I guess I can't retire yet.

I wanted to edit my original post above, but couldn't see any way to do that. Am I missing something?

The reverse of that Brazilian 5 centavos sure resembles Euro coinage. Not an accident I imagine.
