After lunch today the mercury broke the 30 degree mark and I had the itch to swing. It has been a very cold December here in PA, we are running 10 to 12 degrees below normal for the month. I hit a dog tag and two wheaties before these two ladies showed up to make the day!!
I envy all of you in warm weather states......send some east and north please!!

Thanks for looking!

Dave

Jeff I think you could have hunted today from 1:30 to 3:30 at least. No wind and when the sun was out it was actually quite comfortable in the woods. At about 4:00 the temp started dropping and I could feel the chill setting in!

Thanks guys!! Jim, the ground is definitely frozen.....even in the woods the first two or three inches were solid. The merc was only about 3 inches deep and I had to "break" it out of the frozen dirt. It was a shovel day for sure, the Lesche had to be used like a pick to get through the top layer.
