Tennessee Fluorite from a rare locality!

Here are two different specimens from Smith County, Tennessee. They were extracted from mine tailings from a mine that has been inactive for over 70 years. The mine is located just a few miles from the famous Elmwood Mine area.

I like the lighting of the photo's as they make the colors pop. Mine tailings are good places for a lot of interesting stuff. How big are they and what do they look like in a natural light setting?

These are about 2.5 cm - 3.5 cm. I'll work on some natural photos for you DD!

Thanks for that. Natural light photo's help others a lot for others in identification :) Those are some great specimens there.
